After a few months of collaboration with the National Center for Database Marketing team, we recently launched a new online resource: TheCenter@NCDM.

TheCenter@NCDM is built on our Social Cultivation Engine platform and creates an online presence for the incredible NCDM event. We designed the community to leverage the content and thought leadership from the conference, along the way creating an online resource that extends NCDM’s value before and after the offline event.

Some of the great articles already online include:

Best Practices for Customer Segmentation

Email Deliverability - Contributing Factors

Web Analytics is like Exercise Equipment. Huh?

Take a few minutes to browse the site — most marketing professionals will find something of interest already.

The Community Aspect of an Event

Industry events are all about community, but it’s striking how little online and offline communities intersect. TheCenter@NCDM takes the best of what we’ve learned from executing online communities for our clients and merges it with NCDM’s considerable expertise with their offline events. The site speaks for itself — by leveraging the thought leadership and audience base from NCDM’s annual events, we’ve created an online presence that compliments the show well.

Online marketing is moving fast, but our current thinking is that all offline event strategies should have an online community component, and vice versa. Whether you’re trying to increase the value of your event, or marketing to your prospect base, this really seems to be a case where the sum of the whole is greater than its parts.
