Today we’re announcing the beta launch of our new hiring application, HiringThing.
HiringThing is an amazing jobs toolkit we made specifically to help hiring managers be productive.HiringThing started as an internal tool here at Babcock & Jenkins. After reviewing what the usual HR system companies offered, we couldn’t find the right fit for our team. We’re experts at web application development (we do it for our clients all day long), so we decided to tackle the problem ourselves.
We developed HiringThing to reduce the amount of time our hiring managers spend managing, sorting and comparing resumes, and to integrate the social media channels we communicate in as part of the hiring process. And it worked! In just 6 months of production use, we’ve collected thousands of resumes, filled many jobs, and saved a TON of time.
HiringThing is a bit different than your typical “Applicant Tracking System” - our focus has been 100% on creating the best possible experience for hiring managers. The result is a hiring experience that our hiring managers actually enjoy, something you won’t hear about many other systems.
We’ve decided to offer the system to other companies. To beta users, we’re offering free setup and support, along with access to the tool indefinitely, in exchange for frank feedback on our application.
